OKAY.. this is the first finished picture I've done in Open Canvas... I'm still trying to figure that program out, so I'm sorry if it's a tad crappy in the colouring! I'm trying.
This is Kyro : The Forgotten, in the manga
and I are working on.
He's one of the last few of his race of extremely intelligent kitty-type animals called The Boutkai. They were thought to be extinct, but a few are still around as the main characters of the manga find out. Kyro sticks with them through some of their journey, offering low, soft spoken advice and teachings.
His movements are slow and well-thought out. He keeps a cloak around himself, mostly to keep warm and to hide the magic stones that inhabit his back satchel.
Now, beware.. you piss him off enough to make him attack you better be running some opposite direction because he'll mess you up something fierce. He's only two and a half feet high but that cat can pack some brute force underneath that chubby exterior.
And then he might add a curse conjured up from his stones. *shakes finger* No making Kyro mad.
This pic is of after someone done pissed him off, so off the cloak goes and beating ensues.
Mediums: #2 mechanical pencil, .005 micron graphing pen, then finished in both Photoshop CS and Open Canvas.

LOL, I want a kitty like that!! This reminds me of my boyfriends cat for some reason... I don't know why, but it does... Hee hee he's a cute kitty, great drawing too!
